Singapore

Let me start by saying that only a few days in Singapore is not enough time. I’ve already added Singapore round #2 to my travel list for 2017. In the short time that I did spend there (on my way to Indonesia), I tried to squeeze in as much as possible. I went to the Marina Bay Sands hotel observation deck for a view of the city, and therefore skipped the Singapore Flyer since I heard the view isn’t much better than what the observation deck offered. I also took the time to see the Gardens By The Bay during the day and then again at night for the light show. The light show was incredible! It was Disney-themed at the time, and watching the lights dance to “A Whole New World” was so fun! Before leaving, we toured around Chinatown and downtown Singapore before stopping at the famous Raffles Hotel for a Singapore Sling.

Singapore is a culture melting pot and has a lot to offer regardless of what your trip goals are. Writing my to-do list for Singapore round #2 has made me realize all that I missed out on during my first trip there, and makes me even more excited to go back.
