Yokohama Chinatown, Japan

I celebrated the Chinese New Year in Yokohama Chinatown (Yokohama Chūkagai). This particular area is located just south of Tokyo proper and is the largest chinatown in Japan. It is easily accessible by train from Yokohama Station, with the closest stations being the Motomachi-Chukagai station (on the Minato Mirai Line) and Ishikawacho station (on the JR Negishi Line). The food options are endless and there are also a lot of wonderful authentic Chinese shops for souvenirs. You can either dine at a nicer sit-down style restaurant, or spend your time walking up and down the colorful streets and trying different street food options. Both are great!
