Hong Kong (II)

This was my second trip to Hong Kong, and this time the weather was much more enjoyable! I strongly recommend traveling here in the cooler months – the summer weather is very hot and humid. During this trip, I stayed at an AirBnB in the SoHo district – which is walking distance to Lan Kwai Fong.

I visited a few of the same places from my previous trip, but only because I traveled with a different group & I didn’t want them to miss out on the sights. We spent our evenings enjoying the lovely rooftop bars and restaurants that Hong Kong has to offer – all with incredible views of the skyline. We even went to the highest rooftop bar in the world – the Ozone Bar inside the Ritz-Carlton hotel. We went to a few custom tailor shops and shoe stores, visited Lantau Island, went to Victoria Peak during the day, and took a ride around Victoria Harbour on the Star Ferry cruise (although, I did enjoy the Aqua Luna cruise from my first trip more).

This was a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend getaway and I’m grateful to have spent it with my husband and a great group of friends. Traveling to Hong Kong will always be fun – there are so many new sights to explore.
