Halong Bay is an adventure in Vietnam that you cannot miss! It is the definition of serene beauty – with its calm, crystal blue waters and massive limestone pillars as far as the eye can see. I’m not surprised that this amazing spot on planet Earth was deemed a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1994. We opted to venture to Bai Tu Long Bay, (which occupies three quarters of Halong Bay World Heritage site), due to the fact that it is less occupied by boats and offered more unobstructed views of the area. I don’t expect that it will stay that way for too long as tourism catches on to what a hidden gem Bai Tu Long Bay is.
This was the most beautiful place on Earth that I have ever seen with my own eyes. The sunrise over the bay was one of my favorite experiences of this two-day trip – and was a morning that I will remember forever – extraordinary beauty like that is impossible to forget.
